谷歌也推出缩短网址服务了 Goo.gl。Goo.gl和其他缩短URL服务相似，但是目前只能嵌入谷歌产品中例如谷歌工具栏和Feedburner RSS。谷歌宣称，缩短网址的服务既快速又稳定。该公司也设立了比照搜寻索引的安全措施，以拦截可能内含恶意软件或从事网络钓鱼的网页。在官方部落格上贴出的说明公告中，谷歌透露，将来可能为Goo.gl推出独立的网站，但目前无此打算。采用内建于谷歌产品的方式，可让第三方网站把Goo.gl网址缩短功能植入他们自己的产品。同时，谷歌旗下的其他网站，包括YouTube、Maps、Reader、 Blogger等等，也可纳入网址缩短功能。
值得一提的是谷歌推出缩短网址服务后Feedburner支持了个人博客和Twitter同步更新，这项功能方便了国内不能访问Twitter的Blogger。Feedburner推出这项功能后，Blogger们可以直接在Feedburner后台绑定自己的Twitter帐号，当自己的博客更新的时候Twitter也同步更新。
